It’s never too soon to start thinking about kids birthday ideas! Those birthdays seem to come closer and closer together…especially if you have more than one child!

All of us want to make our child’s birthday a special day. Keep in mind, that ’something special’ will be different for every child…just as they are each unique individuals!

The first two birthdays are usually more geared towards the parents and other adults celebrating this joyous occasion…not too many one year olds can really comprehend what all the fuss is about! So don’t get too hung up on thinking about your toddlers’ birthday party theme.

However, as your child grows, those birthdays become more and more important. When it comes to kids birthday ideas, consider each child individually…What does your child like to do? Who are their current favorite characters? Is it Cinderella, or Wonder Woman? Batman, or Bob the Builder? Is your child outgoing, or more on the quiet side?

The point is, when thinking about kids birthday ideas, don’t think about what YOU like, think about your child, and what THEY would like! That is the key to making your child’s birthday party one that they will remember and treasure forever!

Don’t worry…you’re not alone in wondering which of the countless kids birthday ideas is best for your child. There are countless resources, and we’re going to show you some incredible options…

I recently came across one of the most exciting kids birthday ideas yet…it is called ‘Giftventure’. What giftventure does is turn your kids birthday into a a personal treasure hunt. Your child receives personal letters from a fantasy character that lead them to a gift you hide.

What a cool kids birthday idea…take the usual birthday gift giving experience into an experience that neither you nor your child will forget.

How does it work? Simple…you go to GiftVenture and follow the simple instructions.

With your answers to a few simple questions, they create a magical combination of stories, puzzles and games that lead to a gift you’ve hidden. This unique experience is then delivered by three personalized letters from a fantasy character.  What kid wouldn’t love to get letters addressed to them!?! The letters will then lead your child to any ordinary gift you hide.

When the gift is finally discovered, it is no longer just a present; it is a well-deserved reward at the end of an exciting and educational journey!

Have FUN !!

I want to throw my 2 year old a Cars party, but don't know what foods to serve with it. I will have a racetrack cake, but would like to serve lunch for approx. 25 people. I'm not too creative or a good cook, so it should be pretty easy. Any other ideas, besides food, are welcome. Thank you.
What are chicken lollipops?!

For your Cars Theme Birthday Party, you can serve 'Race Day' foods if you're serving a meal. Try hotdogs, popcorn - the sort of food you would get at the races.
Serve round crackers (the Ritz variety) and call them wheels.

Grape Kool-Aid or Chocolate Milk both make great 'oil' to drink!

Carrot sticks and celery sticks with vegetable dip make great 'dipsticks'.

I’m doing a party for 9 and 10 year old girls. I’ll order a couple of pizzas but was going to do some other stuff too. I’m OK with sweet things (lots of ideas for that), but need a few more savoury ideas. We’ve got one vegetarian coming, one who doesn’t eat pork or beef and one with a peanut allergy……………so it’s a little tricky LOL

If anyone has some good ideas for finger food especially, that’d be great. Thanks.

Mini sandwiches are great. Cut bread into small pieces, and put in lettuce, tuna and ham. I’ll suggest a salad too, for the vegetarian and the one who doesn’t eat pork or beef. Put in lettuce, cheese, small balls of honeydew and watermelon, and honey mustard sauce. It’s also healthy. For convinience’s sake, label the non-meat items and use no peasnuts at all.

For drinks/dessert, i suggest making a melon freeze. Cube honeydew and watermelon (yes, again) into a large bowl, and pour in sprite or 7up. It’s a great way to ensure that the children are eating healtily. the parents will be happy too!
